That’s a wrap on the 2024 Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE) Annual Charity Golf Tournament! We had 216 golfers, 35 sponsors, 30 volunteers, and FOUR charity partners, on two beautiful courses. Thanks to everyone who makes this day possible, and thank you to our GRACRE community who makes this day special every year!

Last night W.M. Jordan Company supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Brewers’ Ball at the Science Museum of Virginia and celebrated our honoree, Taylor Jones, who has spent the past six months fundraising. CFF facilitates the development of drugs and therapies for people with Cystic Fibrosis and is the world’s leader in the search for a cure. W. M. Jordan has provided six honorees to fundraise for CFF over the years, and we are proud of our team members who add this extra commitment onto their plate while maintaining their care for our clients. Congrats Taylor and all the other honorees!

VSHE - Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers hosted healthcare facility professionals in Norfolk, Virginia this week with programming focused on improving and enhancing infrastructure and operations. W.M. Jordan Company presented on reality capture technology used at the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters which allowed us to take a 36-week renovation of three ORs and turn them over staggered in 19, 22, and 26 weeks—schedule savings which meant CHKD was able to care for a lot more children in need! Sticking with the theme of healthy living, VSHE also organized ample opportunities to stay active during the conference with a 5k run each morning, one-mile walk, and a golf tournament!

200 business and community leaders from Richmond spent the past week visiting the capital of the peach state 🍑, Atlanta, GA, sharing ideas about business, community, and culture from Atlanta’s representatives. Hot topics for both cities included affordable housing, equity, and inclusion. We also checked out relevant developments that inspired us for projects back home like The Diamond District and Fall Line Trail, with Atlanta’s successes at The Battery and The Beltline Trail. ChamberRVA knocked it out of the park ⚾️ with a fantastically coordinated trip!

Last night we enjoyed heart-healthy cuisine from local talent at the American Heart Association Chef’s Challenge. AHA provides life-saving training in the community, and events like the Chef’s Challenge help fund their initiatives. It was a fun night supporting their work with some of my W.M. Jordan Company team members! (And consuming delicious food)
