Draw a warm bath of water and add between 1/4 – 2 cups of baking soda. Allow to dissolve.

Soak in baking soda bath for up to 40 minutes to reap the full benefits of the baking soda.

You can also add in a few drops of essential oils for a relaxing, fragrant bath.

Baking Soda Detox Bath

A bath with only baking soda can help provide some detox benefits, but if you want to take it to the next level, here is how to make a baking soda detox bath.

Combine baking soda, Epsom salt, sea salt, and essential oils (if using) in a container and stir well. Fill up tub with warm water, then add the mixture. Allow to dissolve, then soak for up to 45 minutes, once a week.

Epsom Salt Baking Soda Bath for Sore or Achy Muscles

The combination of Epsom salt with baking soda can help alleviate sore muscles while giving your body a boost of magnesium and sulfate.

This mixture also provides soothing relief from sunburns.
